Life Navigation 101

Would you like to navigate a clearer path through your life?  This three-step program is the foundation of Life Navigation Coaching.  First, you’ll get your bearings – where you are now.  Next, you’ll figure out your direction – where you’d like to be headed.  Finally, you’ll plan your journey – how you’ll get there.  We’ll use a variety of assessments, exercises, and discussion topics to develop a navigation plan for your life.

Whoa, Baby!  Expecting Change...Expanding Possibilities

You know how some women want so much to become pregnant, then once they are, they find themselves surprised by their feelings, confused by their reactions, and unsure how their newly changed lives will unfold?  They may then become frustrated, feel like they're losing control, and have trouble enjoying their pregnancy.

I offer a four-week coaching program for pregnant women, during which I teach, support, and coach women in powerful methods for creating a life plan during pregnancy.  The benefits of this program are a happier, more joyful pregnancy, a forward thinking approach to new motherhood, and a more balanced and fulfilling life.

This is a custom-tailored four-week workshop with one group meeting per week.  During the workshop, we will focus on one of the four series described below, depending on the particular goals and needs of the group participants.  During the first meeting, we will get to know each other and determine which series best fits the current group’s wants and needs.  We will spend the rest of the meetings working on one of the following four series.

Series A: The Get Ready for Baby Plan

  • We’ll develop an all-encompassing action plan for accomplishing your goals during your pregnancy.  This plan really works.

Series B: Lifetime Goals – Setting Them and Achieving Them

  • What are your lifetime goals?  How does your pregnancy fit in?  How will your baby fit in?  How do YOU fit in?

Series C: Extreme Self-Care

  • Pregnancy is the perfect time to begin taking extremely good care of yourself.  Your body is working harder than it ever has before.  You deserve to feel extremely good.

Series D: The Clean Sweep Program

  • Feeling like nesting?  This module will help you “clean out the corners” of your life, with regard to your physical environment, health and emotional balance, money, and relationships.

Each time this workshop is offered we will focus on a different series, so that you will get the most value possible out of the workshop.

Personal Freedom

Are you satisfied with "just enough?"  Or do you want more much more?  Would you like more clients?  More money?  A better house, partner, or life?  Maybe what you want is more solitude or time with nature and friends.  With abundant personal freedom, you set the stage for fewer problems, thus freeing up most of your day and life to the pursuits that provide you with enjoyment and fulfillment.  The full Personal Freedom Program addresses the following 10 core areas of personal freedom, but you’re welcome to choose just a few areas on which to focus:

  • Extend your boundaries
  • Share your requirements
  • Raise your standards
  • Finish your unfinished business
  • Get your personal needs met
  • Orient around your values
  • Build reserves in all areas
  • Minimize tolerations
  • Handle your money, completely
  • Define success on your terms

A Perfect Life: If Not Now, When?

Have you ever thought about having a better life?  (That’s fine, if you like small steps…)  How about a good life?  (That's closer...)  A great life?  (Don't stop there!)  A perfect life?  (That’s exactly it!!)  We’ll work together to discover the elements of YOUR perfect life, and you’ll begin to craft your perfect life, your way, right now.  And, we'll talk about what "perfect" really means.  Perfection is NOT obtained through perfectionism.  We'll create a perfect life plan for you that doesn't include perfectionism!

Extreme Self-Care

Want to begin taking extremely good care of yourself?  Interested in living your life more abundantly?  The key word in this program title is Extreme.  For many people, self-care is almost obviously a good idea.  However, it can be difficult to get excited about taking extremely good care of yourself until you can imagine how to make a comprehensive and radical change in how you approach your self-care.  We’ll use the Extreme Self-Care Checklist to support you in achieving balance and well-being for yourself.  And you'll immediately begin treating yourself extremely well.

Living Mindfully

In Thornton Wilder’s play, Our Town, Emily Webb asks, "Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? -- every, every minute?"  What does it mean to "realize life while we live it"?  What constitutes a mindful life?  What are the costs and benefits associated with living mindfully versus living mindlessly?  How does being mindful versus mindless affect our lives and the choices that we make on a daily basis?  Each day has the potential to be the gateway to a new world.  Each day we take a few steps along our life’s road, and we have an opportunity to do that either mindlessly – plodding along a step at a time, not really noticing the sights along the way – or mindfully – aware of each new turn in the path, taking care to smell the roses and feel the warmth of the sun on our faces.  We’ll explore ways that you can live more mindfully and get more out of each day of your life.

Living Mindfully Through The Spirit

In this day and age, it is often difficult to integrate our spiritual journey into our hectic lives.  We have our routines, programs, and plans, and we often find ourselves going through the motions, missing much of what is happening around us.  This workshop/retreat explores intentional living, includes time for self-reflection, and encourages a focus on our individual relationships with ourselves, God, and others.  Through creative activities, worship, and discussions, we will explore how to live mindfully on a daily basis, through the empowerment of the Spirit.   This program is co-facilitated with Rev. Amy Mayo-Moyle, an ordained minister of the United Methodist Church.
